DM Jammu reviews preparations for Panchayat Secretary recruitment exam

Today, District Magistrate Sachin Kumar Vaishya held a series of meetings to review the preparations for the upcoming Panchayat Secretary recruitment exam.

The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board will hold the exam on December 10th at 90 centers across 86 locations in the district. 35306 candidates from Jammu district will appear in the exam.

The meetings were held at Teachers Bhawan. The key stakeholders who attended the meetings included SSP Jammu, Dr Vinod Kumar; SSP Security, SSP Traffic, ADC, Sub Divisional Magistrates and RTO Jammu.

The DM said that everything is ready to conduct the exam in a fair way. He told the officers to follow the procedures strictly to make the exam transparent in their centers.

The Magistrates and observers were given a detailed briefing on their roles and responsibilities in the recruitment process.

The ADC, Ansuya Jamwal, presided over a meeting with School Principals and Superintendents and other concerned officials. She directed them to ensure the fair and transparent conduct of the exam.

Member JKSSB, Atul Kumar, gave a presentation detailing the standard operating procedures for all stakeholders.

The DM reviewed the plans for the day of the exam. He stressed the importance of having good lighting, comfortable seating, and clear signs at all of the exam centers. He also said that there should be plenty of drinking water and restrooms available for the students.

Other important people who attended the meeting included the PO ICDS, AC Nazool, the Chief Education Officer, the District Education Planning Officer, the Nodal Officer Colleges, and the Center Supervisors.
