Number of Vacancy: 1
Qualification: Graduate with at least 60% marks in degree examination for general and other backward class candidates as one of the postgraduate subjects in Hindi with English or as a postgraduate in Hindi in English and With a low 55% marks. For SC / ST candidates or any equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government with the prescribed benchmark.
Desirable Additional Qualification: Certification in translation work or work experience in translation
Emoluments: Basic salary Rs. 2,3,795 / – per month. Rs. 2795 -1610 (14) – 55335 -1745 (4) – 62315 and other allowable allowances like- DA, HRA, CCA, etc. will be the total salary. About Rs.59000 / -pm plus other benefits like New Pension Scheme and Newspaper / Internet Allowance Leave Travel Subsidy, Medical Benefits, House Furnishing Allowance, Household Help Allowance, Personal Accident Cover, Housing and Vehicle Loan with Subsidized Interest, and Festival, interest free advance for natural calamities and any other benefit on confirmation of service in the corporation. The officers are also entitled to the accommodation of the corporation / leased as per norms. (Currently, corporation-owned housing is not available, while leased accommodation will be permitted according to the criteria). The current lease accommodation limit in Mumbai is Rs. 30,000 / – per month.

Application fee: Non-refundable amount of Rs. 500 / – (plus GST @ 18%) as processing and examination fee. (Rupees five hundred only) Payment should be made as per instructions given in the above website on completion of registration and application. (SC / ST class and PH candidates and employees of GIC and GIPSA member companies are exempted from the fee). Demand draft / money order / postal order or any other payment method is not acceptable.
Selection Process: Selection for the above post will be on the basis of online test, shortlisting of candidates and performance in group discussion and interview. The total marks for written examination, group discussion and interview will be 200.
The competitive online examination will be held temporarily in the month of October 2019. The candidate can choose any of the following centers, which should be clearly indicated in the application format. The Corporation reserves the right to conduct written examination on some candidates, not on the basis of the number of all the examination center candidates listed below and other relevant factors.
