Govt Medical College Srinagar Jobs of Junior Grade Nurses
Whereas, this institution conducted a written test on 16.08.2020 for selection/ engagement of Jr. Grade Nurses on academic arrangement basis under SRO 24 of 2019, dated: 19.01.2019; and
Whereas, the result of the said examination was declared on 18.08.2020 and on the basis of marks obtained in the said test, 80 persons have been provisionally selected for engagement as Jr. Grade Nurses on academic arrangement basis against the available vacancies in the college and its associated hospitals;
Whereas, these positions are to be filled up on war footing basis to ensure smooth functioning of the hospitals in the obtaining circumstances; and Whereas, floating new advertisement for these positions and then holding another test will take a lot of time and in the present pandemic situation we cannot afford to waste further time on fresh advertisement;
Whereas, in order to cut short the time required for making selection of the suitable candidates, it has been decided to utilize the merit obtained by the candidates in the written test held on 16.08.2020 for the post of Jr. Grade Nurses;
Now, therefore, in view of the above facts and circumstances, online applications/ options are invited from those candidates who appeared in the written test held on 16.08.2020 and are willing to work in this institution under National Health Mission on the terms and conditions as elaborated above. The desirous candidates shall visit our official website www.gmcs.edu.in and submit the application/option form on the designated link up to 25.08.2020 (04.00 P.NU. No mail/request whatsoever in this regard shall be entertained after the cut off the date/time.
If any candidate out of the already issued select list for engagement on academic arrangement basis is interested to work under NHM Schemes, he/she should intimate this office in writing well before joining that engagement.
The selection shall be made purely on the basis of merit obtained by the candidates in the written test held on 16.08.2020 and the candidates with higher merit shall be considered for sub- scheme A and those with comparatively lower merit shall be considered for sub-scheme-B of the National Health Mission Programme
Whereas, this institution has also been authorized to engage 59 more Jr. Grade Nurses under National Health Mission on the following terms and conditions:-

| 2 | Period | Initial contract for hiring shall be Up to 31st March 2021, which shall be renewable for a further period of one year or till continuation of the scheme whichever is earlier, subject to satisfactory performance of the candidate/ approval of the competent authority. The contractual hiring shall not: confer any right upon the selected candidates to claim regularization/ permanent absorption in the institution. |
| 3. | Honorarium | Rs. 14500/= consolidated. P.M. The consolidated honorarium per month is inclusive of all allowances and monetary benefits. |
| SCHEME-B (41 POSITIONS for COVID-19) | ||

| 2. | Period | The contract for hiring shall be for a period of six months or till COVID-19 pandemic is over, whichever is earlier.The contractual hiring shall not: confer any right upon the selected candidates to claim regularization/ permanent absorption in the institution. |
