J&K Government orders mass promotion of JKBOSE: Amid the blockade in view of the fear of coronaviruses, the Jammu and Kashmir government today announced a massive promotion to students of class 11th in 9th grade in Jammu division and 11th grade students in both winter divisions.

An order issued by the DSEK stated that all students in these classes will be promoted to the next class for the 2020-21 academic session as a one-time waiver.
The order further states that the tests will appear in Class 11A. Regular annual examinations under the summer areas of Jammu division should be promoted to 12th standard.
Students who were scheduled to appear in bi-annual and private winter zone sessions in both divisions will also be promoted to the next level, as long as they have completed the examination forms as per the Jammu and Kashmir State School Board of Education (JKBOSE).
