1. Questionnaire: | 10 Points

Surveying’s importance, concepts and classifications, distance and direction measurements, chain surveying, compass surveying, levelling, tachometry, theodolite, traversing, contouring, plane table surveying, and curves are all covered.

2. Structural Analysis and Mechanics | 15 Points

Introduction, The rigid body scalar and vector quantities concept, Force laws, moment, friction, gravity centre, basic devices, torsion Material properties, Shear force and bending moment in statically determined beams. Stress and strain have a simple connection.
