1. Questionnaire: | 10 Points
Surveying’s importance, concepts and classifications, distance and direction measurements, chain surveying, compass surveying, levelling, tachometry, theodolite, traversing, contouring, plane table surveying, and curves are all covered.
2. Structural Analysis and Mechanics | 15 Points
Introduction, The rigid body scalar and vector quantities concept, Force laws, moment, friction, gravity centre, basic devices, torsion Material properties, Shear force and bending moment in statically determined beams. Stress and strain have a simple connection.
Two-dimensional stress and strain, primary stresses, and stress transformation Unsymmetrical bending, flexural and shear stresses, simple bending theory, shear centre Pressure vessels with thin walls, homogeneous torsion, column buckling, and coupled and direct bending stresses deflection and slope Truss analysis is a term that refers to the study of trusses.
3. Structures of RCC | 15 Points
Concrete technology, concrete ingredients, water cement ratio, workability features of concrete, admixtures, unique concretes, non destructive testing, and mix design fundamentals are all covered.
